Laura Barge is a university assistant professor and research physicist at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She holds the Ph.D. in physics and is also Project Director for the highly popular “CASPER Physics Circus” (funded through the U.S. Department of Education) equipping at-risk students to make positive choices towards pursuing post-high school education. Laura is especially interested in facilitating creative breakthroughs in science/technology fields as well as in K12/university settings with students and teachers.
Laura is available to individuals, universities and businesses to facilitate AW and AWAW sessions whether it is for a day or a full twelve-week program. She is based in Temple, Texas with easy access to Austin, Dallas and the Central Texas area. In her free time away from the university, Laura enjoys playing classical and indigenous flutes, writing fiction and poetry, running, and helping her husband with his real estate development and investments.
